Hi there. I just got word this morning that I have been put on the esa support group But when I checked my bank account I noticed a payment of £36 odds has been received, (1 weeks payment) I thought this money would be back dated to the day I applied for esa or at least to the date of my medical. Can you advise me please if this should be the case?

Congratulations on the award. Well done.

Your Support Group award should be back dated to the beginning of week 14 of your claim.

I can't tell from your previous posts when your ESA claim started from.
