Hi, I have a friend who was awarded higher rate of both PIP from 18 December 2015 to May 2018 following cancer diagnosis (not DS1500-she was applicable but felt it ws tempting passing away)). She has already been sent a PIP review from. Does she have to complete this or can it be returned as sent in error. She is still undergoing cancer treatment and will be on medication for another five years. She has also been sent a WCA form, yet in December 2015 was placed in support group and exempted as cancer. I'm afraid the PIP legislation allows the DWP to reassess a claimant at any time and for any reason, the form has not been issued in mistake and must be completed in detail and returned to the DWP within the specified timescale or your friends award could be closed.
