Nil Income only PIP Lower rate was created by MrFibro
Hi to all,
If i dont want to sign on, and i have no income. All except say PIP standard rates for both components. Will i be able to claim Housing Benefit.?
I did read on here a while back about claiming if you have zero income?
Cheers

Mr F
It is possible to make a zero income claim for Housing Benefit, you will need to contact your Local Authority, there are forms you will need to complete and they will make a Decision on whether your request is justified.

If you are not receiving an income replacement benefit such as ESA, JSA or IS then you will not be receiving NI Credits which count towards a full State Pension.
