I had to attend a compliance meeting after 10 weeks of no benefit because they said I had failed to attend a meeting in June that I did not receive a letter for. Upshot was reinstated on 22nd but on 25th they sent out an ESA50 to fill in. I've been in the support group since 2012 due to heart, arthiritis, scoliosis etc etc. It said in my reinstated letter I may be required to attend a work focused interview. I did try permitted work but could not sustain it. Should I fill in ESA50? I have a small pension of £56.00 per month and they've reduced my benefit by this too.
Yes you need to complete this new ESA50, your claim is being reassessed. Treat it as a new claim and complete the form in detail and attach and relevant evidence that you have even if it has been sent before.
There have been changes to the ESA Descriptors and guidance since your were last assessed so please make sure that you use the latest guides to help you with the form.
