Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hi Jasmine,
I'm glad you didn't have to wait long for a favourable decision. Thanks for letting us know
There will not be any Decision Makers reasoning but you can request a copy of the assessor's report (this will be an ESA85a as you did not have a face2face).
The length of an ESA award is not actually fixed but there should be a date on your records indicating when to expect reassessment (as long as they are not suspended due to backlogs, which we have seen several times). You should ask for the 'prognosis'.

Hi further to me asking for a copy of my ESA "prognosis" I have received the report.
It says "I advise that work is unlikely in the longer term" When I spoke to the guy at DWP requesting the report, he said that would probably mean I would have to reapply in 3 years.
I just wondered if anyone knew if this is correct, especially with the recent news about some people being left alone.
Thank you again for all your help.

Jasmine
This phrase usually indicates a three year reassessment period.
If you were being excused from further reassessment then it would have said so on the Decision Letter.
