Hi I have a f2f PIP assessment at home on the 5th December. In my PIP reassessment form I clearly stated that I wanted the medical to be recorded, but there is no mention of this in the Capita letter. Should I get in touch with them about it. I don't have the ridiculous means required by the DLA to record an assessment but I'm pretty sure I can provide a laptop that can record a cd, and make an on the spot duplicate or a smartphone that can dump audio on pc that can then be placed on either a memory card or usb stick that can be clearly labelled in front of the assessor. Any advice would be appreciated. I also a scan of my PIP form with the request on it. They also seem to thick that I'm too rickety to make it to a medical centre for assessment.

Neither Capita or ATOS provide recording of the assessment, this must be done by the claimant.
First of all check that you have permission to do the recording, if you included the request in your form then there is a good chance that it has been missed.
To record your assessment you will need to be able to make two simultaneous recordings direct to tape of CD.
You cannot use a digital device such as a mobile pone or computer.
