I think I shall pursue that route. My Dr is already onboard & has posted out my fit note from today for 3 months ...

When ( let’s be positive ) my decision is overturned I assume I should received back payments to equal out the loss to todays date, ie the date of this Fit note ?

When you said I can ask to receive ESA at the Assessement rate, do you mean literally, phone or write to them. Would they not put this n place automatically ?
