I can only find this main heading to post under, so I'm sorry if this appears off-topic. I'm surprised to find virtually no mention of UC on ths entire site, and no advice related to handling being changed over to it. I'm sure I read somewhere that if you have a change in circumstances and you're already in receipt of health related benefits, then from now on claimants will have to claim UC instead (even though in my case I was changed in April to PIP from ESA SG). Is this true?
As far as I'm currently aware, UC won't be rolled out in my area until July this year
I recently got a diagnosis result from a leading hospital that I do have another hitherto unknown condition on top of what qualifies me for my current benefits, and this is why I'm keen to learn more abut my concerns above, before deciding what to do about contacting the DWP about it all. Of course, I'm hoping that by declaring further impairment to my coping with life, that I might be entitled to more money.
Nobody is being migrated to UC unless they have to make a new claim for one of the benefits under the UC umbrella and they are in a UC Full Service area.
Our guides already cover UC for those benefits that we support e.g. ESA.
