hi there
i am just about to submit my claim for pip and want to know the current turn around times
does anyone know how long it takes for....
a dwp to process my claim and refer me for assessment...
b how long to wait for assessment letter
c how long to wait for assessment to take place.
d how long it takes for decision to come through

a. The DWP do not refer you for assessment, this is done by the Assessment Provider, IAS (formerly ATOS) and Capita. We would expect you to hear in 2-6 weeks from returning your form.

b. see above.

c. 1-2 weeks

d. 2-4 weeks
