Further evidence was created by Sylviac
Years ago i was informed by citizens advice not to include further information in with the claim form, for example a letter from g.p. Verifying medical condition/illnesses. There reason was to withold in case you need it for appeal. On your web site i have noticed someone saying if you include this evidence at the start you are less likely to be called for a medical. What should i do? Include the letter or not?
It is s transition from dla to pip

I haven't heard this advice for some time, it suggests that in some way that evidence decays or having being rejected by the DWP no longer has any validity at appeal, this is a very naïve view of the system and fundamentally wrong.

I would always recommend that claimants supply any and all evidence that they believe is relevant to their claim, it may make a difference as to whether a facet o face is required or nor, although the test for this is very high but more fundamentally it gives you the best chance of receiving the correct Decision first time. After all, who wants to have to go to appeal if it can be avoided.
