Hi hope you can help. I have just received my pack back from DWP for my appeal. I reason they stated for on award was low does medication and reduced from 150mg to 50mg. This has never happened and I dont know where they have got this information. I am still on 150mg and have been for over 5 years. My GP says it is a high does of sertaline.
Also at the end they have said that
"I oppose this appea land ask the tribunal to dismiss the appeal and confirm the secretary of states decision" what does this mean, that I am unable to appeal.

The request to dismiss the appeal is standard for the DWP, it has no legal force and you can continue with your appeal.

Certainly, deal with the issue of the medication but you will only receive an award by showing that you meet the criteria for one. Go back through your PIP2, the assessment report and our PIP Claim guide to make sure that you have shown that you meet that criteria. Remember you need to be able to complete the activities reliably and on the majority of days.
