ESA Assesment was created by CHRISSIE
Hi there.
Newbie here so a bit clueless.
Filled in my ESA form, sent copious amounts of medical evidence, detailing my mobility problems, osteo arthritis, polymyalgia, carpal tunnel, vertigo, IBS and also my depression and anxiety.
My doctor got a form to fill in and only detailed my mental health problems, no mention at all of my mobility issues. I rang to speak to him and he's on holiday for 4 weeks, my assessment is on the 10th Sept....
Needless to say I'm panicking a bit, as the form I sent has details of both mental and physical problems but it looks like I've made all the mobility issues up, according to the doctor, they don't exist!
What can I do?
Any advice will be gratefully received.
Thank you

You should be able to speak to your GP when they get back there are considerable delays in the ESA assessment process, anywhere from 8 to 9 weeks to 8 to 9 months depending on where you live.

Get them to write a letter with the corrections and send it to Maximus, take a copy with you to any face to face and ask the assessor to read it and include it in your file before they start the interview, lastly send a copy to the DWP office dealing with your claim with a covering letter.
