Questions I will be asked at an ESA Tribunal was created by Aloevera
Hi, can you please let me know where I can find the type of questions I will be asked at my ESA tribunal in two weeks time. I received 6 points because I do not go to unfamiliar places on my own and have to be accompanied. No one is able to accompany me for my ESA tribunal and I have to take a taxi on my own. I have been to this court before for my PIP tribunal. Can this be classed as a familiar place?
I used to be in the support group of ESA until August 2017. This was because of my incontinence. The HCP said in her report after the F2F that everything is contained using Tena lady pads. I told her at the F2F that I have a sudden evacuation of my bladder at least once a week whereby I need to clean myself and change my clothes. She did not put that in her report and I received 'Nil' points. I have since seen an Incontinence Nurse and I have been prescribed pads that are delivered to my home. These pads do not help me 100% because I still experience urge incontinence and need to wash and change my clothing. The incontinence nurse said that she would write a letter to my doctor, but my surgery has received no letter!
I plan to see my doctor tomorrow so that he can give me an up to date letter to post to the tribunal a week before I have to go to court. I also suffer from depression, anxiety and panic attacks. During the course of waiting to hear for my tribunal date, my doctor has doubled my antidepressant medicaition. I am concerned that this change will affect my tribunal. What changes affect the tribunal and require them to decline to proceed on the day?
I am so anxious about going on my own and afraid that I will lose the 6 points that has already been awarded.. I hope that you are able to answer all my questions above. Wishing you a great day.
Best regards

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

I'm afraid there is no standard list of questions that will be asked at an appeal, it will depend on the panel to some extent but will primarily be about your problems with the ESA activities. What problems you have, how significant they are, how often you have them, etc.
