Hi I'm feeling worried about managed migration from ESA to universal credit from 2019-2023. I recived a letter after my ESA interview saying that I will receive ESA for as long as I'm sick with no reviews I think that as what is called a indefinite award, but I'm not sure perhaps a mod could confirm this for me? Anyway I'm worried about whether or not I will have to be interviewed again and how long I will be without money, filling out the difficult form and whether or not my money for rent will be backdated. I'm a subscribed user and I have read the form about managed migration, but I cant seem to find anything else about universal credit. Your guides are extremely helpful and I'm grateful for them, as they helped me get esa, but may I suggest that a guide to filling out the online form of universal credit might be useful as I've read it's notoriously difficult. Thanks in advance for any answers.
I'm sorry but at the moment there is no definite information about how the process will be done and what effect it might have on claimants of existing benefits. The Government is currently undertaking a review of the process and we are not expecting any decisions to be made for at least a couple of months.
Once there is then I am sure that we will be publishing updated to our guides.
