I am baffled why PIP is still being used? Just read latest update and can't understand why the large organisations are not trying to get PIP removed.
If you look at how much money is paid to a company outside the U.K. Which could be used to help social care in this country instead of lining executive pockets.
Nobody has said why DWP was not kept going after all decisions about who deserved payements was carried out by professional doctors/consultants who have in depth knowledge of the person asking for hel ( instead of a tick box that most disabled conditions do not fit).
Under DWP there may have been appeals against decisions but certainly not the amount with PIP,this again must incurr cost, which again is taken from disabled who after all did not ask for these conditions. And stress caused by PIP.
If the process is due to help someone who is it? You have to explain to someone who has no idea who you are, then you get tick boxed, dependent on decision an appeal is made, and the doctors or consultants get asked to provide letters to help appeal. To any person with sense this circle seems a long process just going back to DWP process. Work loads on doctors has not decreased as they are still doing what they did before.
Reading all information PIP causes stress and hardship to those who already have enough problems. Government does not listen to individuals so is it not a good time for the professionals to push for questions
Sorry for this but it is not right to see so many put through an unfair system
