Hello In October I received a letter to review my sons ESA allowance. He currently receives contribution based ESA. The DWP wish me to complete a form to assess if he is eligible for income related ESA from 9.4.2013. They phoned me today to chase the form which I have yet to fill in. I am very nervous that his current ESA might be reduced or stopped or that one of his other benefits might be affected if I complete this form. However, I do understand that this does follow on from a court case where claimants were underpaid. Am I likely to be tripped up by completing this and live to regret it? Are there any pitfalls I should be aware of? I do not trust the DWP. Thank you for any help you can give us. Your site and guides have been so helpful to me in the past, an absolute godsend.
