If you have at least 50 weeks of NI Contributions in the Tax Years 2016-17 and 2017-18 then you can claim New Style ESA, this may be affected by your pension but not your lump sum.
If you do not have sufficient NICs then you can claim Universal Credit but it will take into account both your pension and the lump sum.
