Sending forms by Special Delivery

HI,
Has anyone had the experience of sending forms by special delivery to the Freepost destination at WV98 1AD.
According to the Track & Trace my forms got to "North West Midlands Mail Centre" in just a few hours, and then stuck there for two days, with no further tracking information. I see from Google Earth that these two places are in fact about a mile apart from each other.
Has anyone else had this experience - should I be worried?
Thanks

Special Delivery should not be any different for a Freepost address versus a "normal" address.

If you are concerned then contact the DWP, they can confirm receipt of the form.

I had a similar situation just before Christmas. I had posted my PIP MR and it was showing as being at the Mail Centre for 2 days. I had paid £7.40 for "next day signed for delivery", so was concerned. I spoke to my postman who said there were no delays he was aware of and suggested I rang customer services. The final outcome was my MR had been received by PIP on the correct day and scanned that day, but the Royal Mail web site had not been updated. I got a cheque for £7.40 back and a letter of apology from Royal Mail.:)

Same thing happened to me too. Sent off letter to DWP PIP a few days before Christmas using Special Delivery, and according to tracking it has been sitting at the NW Midlands Mail Centre for over 10 days - says 'In Transit'. Called PIP enquires and they have it, letter arrived next working day. As Gordon said, try to call if you're worried and hopefully they'll confirm it is on the system.
