I would like to ask about migrating from DLA to PIP.I was of the understanding that there was an extension of 90 days to return the form due to the lockdown. However I rang today to see if I could get an extension,the telephone message has changed and says that they are not accepting any new claims for PIP unless there is a change in your condition and they will write to you in due course in the meantime your DLA will continue to be paid.
I am unable to get through to confirm my understanding could you clarify this please?
Also if there is any extension granted on the 12 weeks to your knowledge if this isnt the case?
You posted seven months ago that you have been invited to claim PIP, I don't understand why you are asking about the time to return the form, surely it should have been returned before the current crisis started.
