Letter saying they have all info for decision

Hi, my review started in January, forms sent back in February, award due to end in July, extended until next Jan. then had phone assessment at end of July and today got a letter saying they had all the info needed to make a decision. I seem to remember a long wait between that letter and the decision last time, possibly 3 months? I can see lots of posts on here talking about decisions not long after assessment but I assume they are new claims? The health professionals report was similar (albeit bizarrely more detailed than my last face to face!) to last time, so I am hoping the same will be awarded again although I know that depends on the decision maker. I’m sure the HP said 8-10 weeks, does that sound correct? I was hopeful of a quicker decision when I got that letter today but then I remembered the wait in 2018 (without covid19 delays!) has anyone on here reported timescales for reviews?

Based on feedback from the forum I would expect a Decision about 12 weeks after the assessment.

Thanks Gordon
I’m glad they are prioritising new claims as they do have 5 months to sort my review until my award runs out! I really feel for those who have mental health issues that claim PIP as I don’t -my disabilities are all physical but I find all the waiting and “not knowing” incredibly stressful
