Updating DWP on health was created by Mags72
Hi everyone. Not been on for a couple of months. Hope you are all well.
Can someone help here. I have the enhanced rate ( both components) until 2022 which is ok. However, I've been having a read up on information you need to provide to DWP getting better or worse the latter being me. Since my award I've been diagnosed with 4 serious conditions..ongoing and my previous conditions are getting worse..should I let the DWP know? Just worried it will trigger another review and I really could not cope with that again. My mental health is quite bad at the moment with the onset of these recently diagnosed conditions. What do you think? Any advice would be appreciated. TIA

Hi Margaret
As you are already in receipt of the enhanced for both components, it will not make any difference, the DWP have more than enough work to get on with, if your condition was improving and it was on going then yes you should inform the DWP and it would trigger a review.
For now you just need to concentrate on your health, any additional supporting evidence you receive, keep it in a safe place for when you are re-assessed in 2022.

Thank you Gary. Makes sense but was unsure whether or not I'd be in trouble with DWP as it does say if you are getting better or worse. Yes there are people who desperately need their attention right now. I'm aware the benefit amount would not change.
Thanks again
