I got a call out of the blue yesterday from the DWP. I am my mothers appointee and they want to do a telephone assessment next week. Very short notice plus I asked why I hadn't had a form to fill in for her again and about sending in her medical evidence with it like I usually do. I was told that's not needed. Will the assessor read her last form and letters then?
Yes, the assessor will read the previous review. If you think there has been any changes in your mother's condition, I would write a letter now - so you don't have to rely on the assessor writing down accurately what you say.
