Hi I’m about to send off my letter to request my claims in 2014,2015,2016& 2018 are looked at again due to the ruling regarding needing social support to communicate etc.
Just wondered if anyone has already done this and what response, if any, they have had? I suspect only my claim in 2016 to present would of put me in a higher award banding but feel it’s right all the claims are revised to reflect this. I also lost points on budgeting decisions even though I stated I needed someone else to manage my money. Should this descriptor not of been included?
Don't waste your time asking them to look at 2014 and 2015, because the ruling only applies from April 16 2016 - so they will not look at it, however much you wish they would.
The budgeting is not included because it wasn't what the case was about - it only applies to the engaging with others.
No one would have heard anything yet - because the ruling has only just come out and the DWP have yet to announce how they are going to manage the process.
