Well done Notable Survivor. As far as I understand it you can only apply for Motability if your award is 3 years or more so I would get onto them IMMEDIATELY. It is none of DWPs business and while we often think that about questions they ask etc, if you need a Motability vehicle it is no criticism to have one. In fact it could make your renewal in due course easier as you can say you drive from door to door of places you go, rather than them assuming you can walk X distance to a bus stop etc. Hope you are able to get the vehicle, don't hang about, Denby
