Well the last person who did an home visit 4yrs ago lied on her assessment and rushed the assessment to go and collect medication for a family member....
The assessor took the phone call from Leeds in mid assessment and then had a call to Goole to go and collect the meds.......
Shocking to say the least.

Ant 62, Hi, have you thought of not just waiting? If you give it say 2 days, then call to ask for a copy of the assessment report. Do not be fobbed off should they try. Unless you are in Northern Ireland you are entitled to a copy straight away, and assessors are supposed to upload the report promptly.
As soon as you get it, make a nice cuppa, get a notebook etc and settle down to read through about 3 times, cross checking carefully with your form and any other evidence you sent in. Should they have lied again, left out key info etc, ASAP write in saying 'this is not an MR request but I reserve the right to make one later', and carefully pointing out all the mismatches in non-emotional language. This may get the Decision maker to take the report with a suitable pinch of salt and read YOUR evidence, before making the decision. Worked for our daughter. Best, Denby

Hi Ant62
Yes, phone the DWP. You should have the telephone number of your regional office on your paperwork.
