Extended Pip review was created by aly
Hi, all. I had a letter from the DWP on the 25 of September telling me my PiP review award will be extended until October 2021 because of COVID-19 On the 10th of Nov I was sent a PIP form to fill in. I rang the DWP to query it and all I got was a voice mail saying If you received a 7210 letter I was to do nothing so I didn't fill it in, thinking it was an error ! WRONG This morning another letter arrived telling me if I didn't return my form by the 10th of December my money will be stopped, as you can image I was horrified, in tears crying. It took me nearly an hour to get through only to be told this has been happening to quite a lot of people, I have 25 days in which to gather as much information as possible, will I get that done in time especially with Christmas around the corner. I just don't know. Has this happened to anyone else Aly

Hi aly
Welcome to the forum, you might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explains where everything is.
Welcome to Benefits and Work .
You are not alone, this has happened to quite a few of our members over the past few weeks and I have read numerous post from members, all telling the same story.
There have been some changes to the PIP criteria since you were last assessed so please make use of the latest version of our PIP Claim guide.

Even though it is a PIP review form you are completing, we would advise you to complete the form as if it was a new application, don't be tempted to just tick a box saying no change.
Our PIP Claim guide covers completing the AR1 Review form (1043 Review), remember, whatever the form says you are being assessed against the same criteria as before.
If you follow the link below it will tell you what you need to know about completing the PIP review.

It is perfectly OK for you to type your answers and attach them as extra pages to the AR1, just make sure that each page has your full name and NIN at the top and that they are numbered, we recommend "page X of Y" so that it is easy to see if pages are missing. Make sure you clearly mark on the form where your answers are and on the relevant page that you are answering question X.
Attach the pages to the back of the form using a staple or make a hole in the top left corner and use a treasury tag, string or ribbon to the form. The pages need to be easily detached so that they can be scanned by the DWP.
If you need moe time contact DWP and ask, especially as festive period is nearly with us and post may be erratic, don't forget to include supporting documents and send your application by recorded delivery.
