Reading the emails B&W sends are very supportive, they give me information that I would not get from anywhere else. My adult son went to a Tribunal in Jan 2018, after the DWP had removed his ESA payments. We won and the judges said he should not be assessed for 24 months from that date. The following November we received the assessment forms yet again and had to go to yet another assessment in January 2019. He was granted the ESA again but we were never informed for how long. They ignored the emails sent from my local Labour MP in July 2019 asking how long he had been given it for. I think the DWP gain enjoyment from knowing how mush stress they cause to people. His PIP was granted for ten years in 2017 which was a relief. (Just read about the nine months extension, so when a brown envelope arrives I will not feel so terrified) Good luck to you all and keep well.
Thank you so much for your feedback Flowerpower. It is encouraging to hear when things finally go well. And well done you for your part in your son's battle!
Catherine
