Hello Mods,
I posted this 2 days ago but it did not yet appear in the forum

My 5 yrs PIP award was due to end in Feb. 2021
I received the PIP extension letter in late sept last year my award was then extended to November 2021 But 8 weeks later I received the PIP review form in December 2020.
Today I received what looks like a decision letter that they looked at my claim a gain and my award is kept the same standard and enhanced care for living and mobility components respectively, However that is still until November 2021
but after the review I only got 8 months which is the same as extension date
I am totally confused and do not know what to do to call and ask for a MR or what else? Please help

This is an update today
Today I received a new review form to complete and send by mid March is it normal to be sent a review form within the space of only 2 month
. Thank you

Hi Mark12

Your first extension and then receipt of the review form is not unusual and was just a matter of the DWP buying themselves a little more time. What I don't understand is your award end date remaining exactly the same and then being sent another review form. This is most odd and I would ring them and find out what is going on.
