Hi Seabird55
The answer to your question is ..... Yes .... If you were born after 8 April 1948, then you will be reassessed for Personal Independence Payment at some stage.
What has happened at this moment in time due to covid-19 is the suspension of reassessment from DLA to PIP unless you were already in the system for being reassessed.
The descriptors for PIP are different to the descriptors for DLA. Have a look at our PIP Claim guide for a better understanding of the criteria you will need to meet.
www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/help-for-claimants/pip I am not aware yet when the suspension will be lifted, once it is known it will be in our newsletter which you can sign up to receive free of charge, the newsletter comes out once a fortnight.
