Thank you for the post, I used Part 1 of the PIP Assessment Guide on another post this morning when talking about paper based assessments.
I will use the information from your post to inform members who post in the future in regards to not taking strong enough pain killers as we have come across it a few times.

Wow Dixip, genius! Especially "HPs should be mindful that the level of analgesia used does not necessarily correlate with the level of pain" . It's all about the 'should be', isn't it? And of course there are those assessors, like the one who did our daughter's paper-based ass'm't, who try to claim that max Tramadol and Gabapentin are for 'moderate' pain. Scotched that successfully with an extract from NHS website re Tramadol. Thanks, Denby
