Hi Guys. Could you please tell me if you know, can I staple pages together of the same medical report when I return my UC50 form, I have a lot of reports to show them and they are not always double sided? Many thanks.
There is no rule about about staples, but you need to remember that person handling your claim will need to separate all the pages and scan them. If you staple them too well the pages might end up being torn.
Sometimes I staple pages together but only on the very edge so that only one prong of the staple goes through the paper. If you have any treasury tags you can punch a hole in the corner of the documents and hold them together that way. You can also use dress making pins to pin them together.
The really important thing is to make sure that your name and NI number are on each piece of paper.
