Long term covid

What an interesting question. PIP is awarded on the basis of how a condition affects you, not what the condition is. The only criteria for the condition is that you must have had it for 3 months and reasonably expect to have it for another 9 months. I am not aware that there has been any official guidance on long covid but if you or someone you are supporting has had it for 3 months and it seems to be stable, i.e. showing no signs of improving, then I would recommend that you/they apply.
