Hello jay01,

I am assuming you are in the process of filling in a PIP2 form. You need to treat each activity as a separate entry, so don't assume because you have said something in relationship to one activity that the assessor will assume it applies to another. For example if you were completely blind you might think that having stated that that everything else will follow, unfortunately that does not apply. So in that case you would need to say how your lack of sight effected your ability to prepare food and what detail what help you need with that activity. You would then need to start off all over again with taking nourishment and explain how your lack of sight effected your ability to eat & drink and what help you need with that.

You mention 5 times a week. This relates to how reliably you can do something without particular help. Again for each activity you need to say often you need that help unless it is simply that you can never do manage without assisstance, in which case you need to say so.

Yes, occasionally commonsense applies, but if I am filling in one of those forms I always play safe and assume that it will not.

Hi again Jay01,

I have just read your almost duplicate post to the one which you started this thread with. Just to be clear, you don't have to use the actual words 'unaided' etc, if you prefer not to. You just need to make sure that it is clear what you are saying.
