Well, I rang them today and despite not having the outcome I hoped for I'm glad I did. The man told me that the phone call I had doesn't count as an assessment and not to worry that I didn't feel I had answered correctly. He said I am being put forward for reassessment which I really didn't want, but at least I know now and will have an opportunity to clear things up then. He also said it might take 8-12 weeks for them to contact me so I can stop holding my breath although i feel my life's on hold!

Thanks for all your help!

As you said Herbicat, at least you now know. My suggestion - try to forget all about it and enjoy the lovely warm days we are having.

Hi. I had the same thing happen about 3 months ago. A decision maker rang me just as I was getting home from work, I said it wasn't convenient as I was just getting out of the car so she said she'd ring me the next morning at 9am. I too was very flustered, no sleep that night and when she rang the next morning the first thing she said was that I could obviously drive, I was totally unprepared, she went through some of my answers on the form and the phone call lasted about 15 mins. I couldn't give the amount if detail I wanted to and she said the same that it might be enough for a decision to be made but if not I would have a phone assessment. My phone assessment is tomorrow at 9am which I've had a letter and a text message but today I had 8 missed calls from a private number, all calls were when I couldn't answer my phone. 5 of the calls were back to back within seconds of going to my voicemail. Finally answered the 9th one and it was IAS telling me my assessment is tomorrow, that has left me flustered to. Questioning myself now, did I sound too happy answering the call? which I lost points for previously. How ridiculous is that. I've just spend a couple of hours making notes and trying to predict what they'll ask tomorrow
