Hi Saffron5,
Providing that you continue to fulfil the requirements of ESA, ie you have sufficient illness/disability that means you cannot do work or work related activity you can continue in the support group. You will also need to produce fit notes (sick notes) as required. Support Group ESAcb is not time limited, so as long as you fulfil the requirements you can continue to receive this benefit. Unlike PIP which tends to have an end date ESA is ongoing, although there may well be a review date. Depending on the nature of your ill health, you may be sent a form to complete and there may also be an assessment that you will need to attend. If you don't hear from DWP around around a month before the review date, you could phone DWP to see what is happening. Also have a look again at the members guides which give loads of info about ESA and forms. You may also wish to start obtaing medical reports etc in case these are required.
I hope this helps.

Hi LL26,

Does one need sic notes if in support group IR not CB ?
I have never sent one to dwp of yet, i still get them off my gp just in case i do. ie i get a 6 month unfit note. and only use them as part of an esa review, as evidence.
Regards.

ESA SG CB is often reviewed every 3 yrs ,its meant to be max 3ys , but many go far longer between assessments, no need for sick notes once the assessment and prognosis attained. No rhyme nor reason, but then thats the DWP !!!
Covid has made times varying re assessments, one can contact the DWP to ascertain your next assessment date, but altho its not meant to trigger an assessment it is strange that the forms plop on the mat shortly after raising ones head above the para phat.

I'm also on nsESAcb. I cannot see a Review date on any of the correspondence from ESA/JCP. I'm worried they send a form, I don't receive it and, because I'm not expecting it, don't realise it is missing!!
Can anyone tell me where to find the Review date?
Thanks in advance.

Hi Ghirl#1
You did not say if you were in receipt of LCW or LCWRA. If you are in receipt of LCW then NS ESA will only last one year whereas LCWRA is indefinite until next assessment.
NS ESA is an indefinite award with scheduled reassessment based on the Prognosis Date completed by the assessor in their report, so your existing NS ESA award continues in payment until a new Decision is made.
If you are worried then I would contact DWP and ask for a copy of your assessors report called UC 85
