Assessor only rang my phone with two rings

What do people do if they are in this situation I have been helping a lady who has had this happen - the date was arranged but the assessor only rang her phone with two rings - she did not have enough time to pick up. She called the assessment company asking if someone could call her back as it only rang twice her end. Capita informed her they had given her enough time and she needed to call back on Friday so the incident can be investigated. She has been told this may affect her benefit claim.

I have hold her to call the assessment company and to inist on Speaking to a manager . Ask them to explain what has happened and what can be done. I have also suggested calling pip and speaking to a case manager to explain what has happened and ask advice.

Have I missed anything they should do? I can't help feeling that its not their fault but the issue lies with the assessment company.

Yes, the next step is to definitely contact her MP.

In my experience they do carry a lot weight to cases where what the assessment provider has done border on the ridiculous which is the case here.

Dear, tld2020, as mentioned by others contact the MP, ring there line and say you need to speake urgently with them, they will ring you back on the same day, if not by before end of day ring them again with same talk to them urgently and ask them to register complaint with assessor.
and you can write to dwp tell them what capita done, a paper trail for your friend.
