Hi not sure if this has already been answered but I had a phone call with UC today but they rang me in the middle of an important appointment with my mental health team. I’m in the LCWRA group of universal credit. Does this mean I will still get sanctioned or does this mean I won’t be sanctioned? I have put on my journal that I couldn’t answer the phone as I was in the middle of seeing my CPN. Any advise would be helpful. Thanks.

Hello FieldL2015,

You should not be sanctioned! You are allowed to have a life beyond answering the phone to the DWP and you have done the right thing in recording why you were unable to take the call.
