Additional information after form sent in was created by Jan1955
I posted his form a week ago, and listed an upcoming hospital appointment which relates to his leg disability which affects his mobility
He attended the appointment on Monday and the consultant has sent a copy of the consultation to his GP with a copy to us,
I feel it is a good indication of why he has mobility issues
It also details some treatments which could help with the pain but the leg disability will never get better.
Would they consider this information if I send it too them tomorrow or is it too late
Would I send it to DWP or IAS
Kind regards

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hi Jan1955
You can send the letter to DWP and hope that it gets attached to his file before the file goes to the assessor, if you do make sure you send a copy and keep the original, add name and national insurance number to the letter and send it by recorded delivery. There are delays in processing claims so you be ok.
or you can keep the letter and wait and see what the outcome will be and then use the letter if you have to put in for a mandatory reconsideration.

Hi Gary
Thank you for the reply,
I will send it as I think it gives a clearer picture of why he has mobility issues.
Hopefully it will get attached to his claim
Kind regards
