I finally posted my PIPs2 form application at our local post office on 1 June 2023 - I started to get worried that it had not been delivered as I had not received my confirmation of receipt text from DWP. I had to phone 2 or 3 times the DWP, also getting another extention to the deadline to 24 June 2023. The last time I phoned the DWP, a lady who answered my call confirmed it had been received on 14 June 2023 - I was calling on 22 June 2023. She stated that the DWP no longer send out confirmation texts upon receipt of forms.
This is very concerning to me and more than likely everyone who has to go through these forms, mentally, physically and emotionally. To have to phone up continually to find out if your form has been received or not. The lack of confirmation texts from DWP in this respect has now got me very worried concerning whether any other forms of communications, updates will or will not be forthcoming regarding our submitted forms.
How is any of this legal? What can we do about it?
