PIP Review (1034) - one last question!

My PIP 1034 is finally ready to go, but I have one last question about it:

With Autisic SD, immediate 'in-the-moment' sensory processing is a real issue for me - given time to prepare, I can absorb and retain information to an 'adequate' standard, but if caught off-guard I feel bombarded (sensory overload) and I'm totally flummoxed.

So to that end, I obviously don't want to put my telephone number on the form (I only have a landline, which I never use because it's bundled in with my broadband, any calls I receive go to voicemail for me to digest at a later date). I'm considering leaving it blank but putting this:

"Due to sensory impairment issues associated with ASD I am unable to immediately process verbal information by telephone reliably. I would then respectfully request that any contact be by email to allow me to process it more slowly and effectively." (and then include my email address instead of phone no.).

Is this a good idea, or would it just put the assessor's back up? Should I just put my phone number in for a quiet life anyway, and hope they don't call? They probably already have the number anyway from when we called for an extension.

PS: I'm going to contact the DWP's Alternative Formats Team for any future contact, but it won't help in this particular case because it'll take too long to set up.
