Scottish adult disability was created by Ginith
Hi
Renewed membership to seek guidance.
Last time I was claiming ESA but I got a contract, cancelled claimed, back to claiming again.

However my question isn't about me today.

Hubby has prostate cancer grade 8, he's working atm whilst on hormone treatment, Radiotherapy starting to start in Jan and its going to be 28 sessions and boost implant after. So he wont be able to work i am sure. He's the main earner since I am not well.
Anyone able to point me in right direction to successfully claim for him.

Thanks in advance.

Speak to a local advice agency they are best placed to explain what you might be able to claim now and in the future.

Benefits that you might consider are ADP, New Style ESA and UC, he will have a better chance of being awarded NS ESA and UC when he starts Chemotherapy or Radiotherapy as this can lead to automatic qualification.

Our Claim guides for all three benefits can be accessed via the Guides link at the top of the page, use our PIP guide for ADP as the criteria are the same.
