I hope you've had well deserved break. Thank you for the ESA advice, form finally in the post.
I've been working through the guide as I've received my AR1 Pip form, I had called them to say I had worsened.
The questions are so different I am struggling to be concise with only 3 lines!
Part of the problem is I regret not doing an Mr back in 2020 so when it asks -
tell us if something has changed and when
Tell us how you manage this activity now, inc aids
Tell us about changes to help you need
Yes I do have changes, and lots more letters but also want to write
In March 2020 I was awarded 4 pts for mobility, I now have blue badges and my conditions have worsened-but I didnt get the correct award back then - should I just concentrate on new diagnosis or write that I think they were wrong?
My answers for 11 and 12 go into 2 x A4 attached pages referencing my limitations and 25 hospital letters. Will writing so much put their backs up and go against me?
I have tried to subtly answer all the lies in 2020 assessors report, I drive to appointments alone , I'm well majority of week! etc - is this a good plan.
Thank you for any advice, the new form has really thrown me.

Hi headabovethewater

Glad to hear that you got your ESA form off.

Don't worry about your answers being longer than 3 lines - add as many additional sheets as you need. 25 letters is a lot, but if each of those letters backs up your case - send them all. I always make sure that I link the letters to specific questions - rather than let the reader guess where they apply. So I would say something like "I am unable to prepare a simple meal because of my severe rheumatoid arthritis and lack of mobility (see letter from Consultant Dr J Smith- date 13/7/21"

There's no point in trying to argue that the wrong decision was made back in 2020 - but you can make it clear when your condition started to deteriorate (which was prior to 2020) and quote from your previous form, and then give them details of how much worse it has gotten since then. You can also say that you would have put in an MR in 2020 as the assessor 'misunderstood' or 'missed' key issues, but you were not well enough to do so.

Good luck with it.

Thank you so much for the clear logic as usual.
Hadn't thought to quote from previous form and I like the 'assessor missed key issues' they sure did!
Much appreciated

Still ploughing through it, do you think it's OK on the first 'tell us if something has changed..'
To do a 'my health has deteriorated immensely as the attached sheet detail'
Then enclose a page detailing all the changes with references to each hospital letter? If so I could write that for each first line.
Thank you again
Ironically I notice question 12 moving is the only one without a tell us if somethings changed :-/

This is fine but make sure you include your full name and National Insurance Number on each page and I recommend you number them e.g. "page X of Y".

Also, don't split your answers across the form and additional pages, do one or the other, it invites those reading your answers to only look at part of your answer.
