I am going to do a mandatory reconsideration on my PIP decision.
On one of the daily living quesions, I asked for 2 points. But was awarded 0 points.
My question is:-
Can I say I made a mistake on my original pip form by asking for 2 points, and now I believe I should have asked for 4 points - need assistance?
Are you able to do this on a mandatory reconsideration? - ask for a higher scoring descriptor even if you didn't ask for it when you originally filled in the pip form?
Yes, you can but will obviously need to justify the extra points.
However, the fact that you scored zero points for the Activity would suggest your issues with showing you should score four points are more fundamental and you need to look at the testimony and evidence that you have supplied.
