I feel your pain! With this Government it all comes down to money & making the most vulnerable suffer. It's like the bully in the playground targetting the weakest.

When you read the above link and hear how £8 million per day, yes per day!! is being spent to house asylum seekers & the Government is trying to squeeze blood out of the severely ill or pensioners who have worked all their lives to hopefully enjoy their retirement it is truly soul destroying.

Hi fibrofred, at the risk of getting into politics here and not wanting to write too much, if the asylum seekers were 'processed' promptly then allowed to work or deported, there would be no need to spend much on hotels, nor would good British fruit and veg lie rotting in the fields for want of pickers, or our elderly lack for care staff. If working they would also be paying taxes instead of having taxes spent on them.
