Received UC leaflet TAC CREDITS ARE ENDING, with no letter

Hello dear forum community and moderators,

I have received a Universal Credit leaflet “ TAX CREDITS ARE ENDING Get ready for UNIVERSAL CREDIT “
No letter came with this leaflet!
If the letter was supposed to come with this leaflet and did not, if I am supposed to apply to UC by the deadline given on the letter, if I do not as I cannot as I have not the letter, then my “tax credits payments will stop”. The implications are serious.

I find this leaflet misleading because reading it, to me anyway, it implies that this leaflet could come with a letter or a letter could come separately some time later on ( leaflet also reads “while you wait for your Migration Notice letter…”

The leaflet reads “ Tax credits are coming to an end and you will be asked to apply for Universal Credit instead “

plus It reads in red “ Your tax credit payments will stop” “if you decide not to apply for Universal Credit before the date provided in your letter.

It also reads in red“ To continue receiving financial support, you will need to claim Universal Credit by the deadline in your letter” that sentence to me could imply a letter came with that leaflet. now to me this letter implies any of my benefits could be stopped as it says I could stop receiving financial support, it does not stay it stops only at tax credit.

Has anyone received this leaflet only without an accompanying letter, or is it just me?

I am not keen on ringing UC because, if the leaflet is supposed to come without an accompanying letter, that letter could come any time after this leaflet, and who knows maybe in a year’s time, why call UC so that it triggers something and they send the letter to me now instead of later on, or they may not send it at all?
