Please could I ask the moderator,
I received an indefinite award in 2015. I had a review when I reached 64 and was given a higher award but it said nothing about indefy award (I don’t think) as I can’t find the paper now. I also did not want to rock any boats, by asking DWP anything, my question is will the indefinite award eg 10years be re-started at 64 in which case I will would need to b do the light touch when I am 74 2032 or 2025
Many thanks

Hi Colin123456

From your post I am not sure if you were 64 when you were awarded an indefinite award.

What usually happens is the DWP will contact you up to one year before your claim ends, unless you were given a light touch review, light touch reviews have only started this year, the light review form is, I am told is very simple, although I have not seen one myself. It would be good to hear from any member who have received a light touch review form.

As you are already in receipt of PIP before you reached state pension age then your claim will carry on.
