Scoring
The daily living component of PIP is based on a points system:
Standard rate: A score of 8–11 points gives the standard rate of the daily living component
Enhanced rate: A score of 12 or more points gives the enhanced rate of the daily living component
No award: A score of less than 8 points for either component of PIP gives no award
