New Style ESA and migration? was created by Joe Blogs
I recently applied for Universal Credit (UC) after receiving my migration notice from Income based ESA support group legacy benefit . I have already on my UC journal accepted claimant commitements on 6th November. A few days ago I received by post a New Style ESA (claimant commitment) form hard copy to sign only (as form comleted) and send back to the Job Centre.
There is nothing on my UC journal about this and I am confused why I am being asked to sign this New style ESA form? Is this normal for migration legacy ESA support group to sign this hard copy?

Hi mbc127,
Yes it is standard practice to have a separate claimant commitment for New Style ESA.
You are fortunate that they have posted it to you as other members have been asked to travel to the Jobcentre.
