I had a reassessment for PIP last week and today I have received a letter from CAPITA for a second phone appointment next week. Has anyone had this happen to them? I noticed I had a missed call from CAPITA a few days ago so I’m hoping they may just need to clarify some information. The first telephone call lasted over 3 hours as I found the process so stressful due to my mental health. I was told it would be recommended that any future assessments would be paper based because of their duty of care to me. Thanks
I suspect they just want to clarify some information. If they don't immediately clarify the reason for their call, insist that they tell you and ask them to confirm that this is not another assessment. It really shouldn't be, but you need to know.
I hope it goes well for you.
