I am very unclear about the latest situation about what PIP review forms are in use.
Basically, I am on a (both) higher rate ongoing award, soon to be reviewed, I believe. I thought I would Be receiving a “light touch” AR2 form, both because of higher award and because I am aged 68 yrs.
But I have read that the DWP are using the AR1 review form, which is 26 pages long.
I know the advice is not to treat the AR2 as lightly as its format suggests, but I really would be grateful for clarification as to which form I can expect. Is the light touch process still in force?
I would expect you to receive the AR2 - because of your age (but remember we are not the DWP and so it's always possible that you could be sent an AR1)
"The AR2 form is being issued from August 2023 to claimants who have: • very stable needs which are unlikely to change over time; or • high level needs which will either stay the same or get worse; or • a planned award review date due on or at State Pension age"
